Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Programs

These programs are designed to help students recognized a life-threatening emergency, how to provide basic life support and what to do in the event of an airway obstruction or choking.All CPR programs are based on the most current science and guidelines for cardiopulmonary resuscitation and are consistent with other national CPR programs.

 CPR for the Community and Work Place

This course teaches the lay rescuers how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, child and infant victims, risk factors and warning signs of a heart attack and stroke.

CPR PRO for the Proffessional Rescuer

This course is designed for the healthcare professional and includes adult, child and infant CPR, two person CPR and choking as well as barrier devices, bag mask ventilation, risk factors and warning signs of a heart attack and stroke, and the use of the automated external defibrillator.The CPR PRO course has been approved for training of Emergency Medical Services personnel in most states, is accredited by the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS) and accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).
